If you are using Microsoft EDGE on you iOS device, then you will be glad to know that Microsoft has finally added 3D Touch support to the browser.
This should come as a welcome addition for iPhone users as Apple introduced 3D touch feature all the way back in 2015. In case you are wondering, thanks to the latest addition, users will now be able to use 3D touch to preview a website by pressing down on links on Edge. Moreover, you will be able to go the website by pressing tapping and holding the link further.
Although it is unclear why Microsoft took so long to bring the feature, it will be welcomed by users nevertheless. While 3D touch feature was introduced few years earlier, Apple hasn’t improved on the initial version since then. As a results, it will be interesting to see how Apple moves forwards with the 3D Touch.
As for the latest update, Microsoft introduced several new changes and improvements to Edge with the recent update including faster performance and news feed customization. If you haven’t downloaded the update already, you can head to the official App Store to download the latest update.
