If you followed the platform, then you might already know that the RCS messaging aims to provide users a better experience than the traditional SMS sent by businesses. Google revealed that a small number of companies in different sectors based in the United States and Mexico are using RCS to upgrade their messages with branding.
Google revealed that it is working with Sprint to send RCS messages for different business. This latest news comes as back in 2016, Sprint launched RCS-based messages with Google to rival iMessage. In the blog post, the company revealed that more than 40 carriers and devices manufacturers are using its RCS platform through the Android Messaging app. The search engine giant is expected to bring RCS messages to more businesses in the coming months.
