Burnout Paradise remains to be one of the most popular games in the genre and earlier today, EA has announced that it will release a remastered edition later next month for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro users. As for PC gamers, they will need to wait few months as the company revealed that it will release the game for PC later this year.
The company noted, “Players will be transported back into the world of Paradise City to tear it up in the ultimate driving playground, from hectic downtown avenues to the wild mountain roads. Pull off high-octane stunts and create insane car destruction in one of the greatest arcade-driving games ever created.”
In case you are wondering, the remastered edition will bring the original game with all of the updates as well as DLCs which were released over the years. However, it’s unclear if PC gamers will be able to get their hands on the Big Surf Island expansion which was never released for PC.
Apart from that, EA didn’t reveal what kind of improvements we can expect from the remaster. At the moment, the remaster is set to support 60fps with 4K resolution on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. Burnout Paradise Remaster will launch on March 16th for $39.99 with a Play First trial available on March 9 to EA Access subscribers on Xbox One.
