Earlier last week, it was revealed that a Telugu character was causing apps to crash on iOS and making devices unusable. Shortly afterwards, users discovered that the issue was affecting rest of the company’s operating systems. Thankfully, Apple has released an update to address the latest issue.
Shortly after the discovery of the bug, Apple promised that consumers won’t need to wait long to receive the update which will fix the issue. Earlier today, the tech giant released a major update to fix the problem for iOS devices. Additionally, the company also released a supplemental update for macOS 10.13.3, watchOS 4.2.3, and tvOS 11.2.6.
This latest release marks the eleventh update for iOS 11 which has faced a lot of issues since its release. Since then, rumors suggested that Apple won’t focus to bring new features to iOS 12 in an attempt to improve stability of the operating system.
As for the latest update, it should be available now and you can update your device in traditional way.
