Apple Promises to Fix the Latest Bug before Releasing iOS 11.3

Last couple of weeks have been pretty rough for Apple following the company’s admission of slowing down its older smartphones. Apart from that, users have been complaining on a regular basis that several iOS bugs are causing their apps to crash. While the company fixed its annoying iMessage bugs few weeks earlier, recent reports have revealed that a new bug in iOS 11.2 is causing iPhones to crash and disable access to frequently used apps such as iMessage and WhatsApp. As a result, Apple has confirmed that it will be release a bug fix for the latest issues before iOS 11.3 comes out.

In case you didn’t know, the latest bug is exploited by sending a Telugu character to the affected devices which crash when they try to load it. While similar bug was mainly affecting iMessage at start, the recent bug is causing third party apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Gmail to crash.

Additionally, other apple devices are also affected by the latest bug. With iOS 11.3 coming up shortly, Apple has confirmed that it will release an update in coming days before iOS 11.3 rolls out in spring.
