Although it’s been quite a while since Microsoft has launched its latest console, the Xbox One X, gamers in India had to wait quite a while to get their hands on the device. Earlier today, that wait has come to an end as Microsoft announced the launch of the company’s latest console during a press conference earlier today.
Talking about the latest release, Priyadarshi Mohapatra said, “We are delighted to offer gamers the world’s most powerful console with access to the largest and most diverse games lineup in Xbox history, including Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Cuphead and Super Lucky’s Tale, out of more than 1,300 titles and more than 220 exclusives available on the Xbox One X, just a few short months after the device’s global launch. We’ve listened to our community and are excited to be bringing this new console to Indian gamers.”
For a long time, Microsoft dubbed Xbox One X as the ‘most powerful gaming console’ as it packs a custom eight-core CPU paired with 8GB of flash memory and 12GB of GDDR5 memory. Starting from today, consumers in India will be able to purchase the console from different retailers for ₹44,990 which is just over $700.
