Although Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy VII remake back in 2015, we haven’t learned a lot of details related to the title over last couple of months. However, it will change soon as the publisher has revealed that it will showcase some new content related to the remake in an upcoming exhibition at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo, Japan.
In addition to showing some more details about the upcoming title, the company also revealed that the upcoming exhibition will show history of different titles along with some new information regarding the Final Fantasy VII remake.
This latest news comes after it was revealed back in July that the game is heading to an internal setup. However, at that time, director Tetsuya Nomura said that he can’t reveal more information. He said, “After mentioning the fact that development on the remake has shifted to an internal setup, Nomura said we shouldn’t expect any new information “for a while” as a result.”
“Although there are parts [of Final Fantasy VII Remake] further along than Kingdom Hearts III, such as cutscenes, it is unlikely we’ll share information for a while as we switch from mainly external to mainly internal development.”
