Earlier last year, Stardew Valley’s developer ConcernedApe pushed back the multiplayer support for the game to early 2018. Interestingly, earlier today, the developer teased the release the multiplayer mode of the game via Twitter as we got to see few things from an image the developer’s Twitter account shared.
4-player Stardew Valley LAN party at my house… it’s really fun. It still needs some work, but the underlying network code is solid. Being in the same room and yelling at each other about what to do next, or if anyone has any stone, is great fun. Can’t wait to share this pic.twitter.com/Sjxyd712BK

The shared image confirms that 4 player is still in plan. In addition to this, you can see that there are two houses side by side which suggests that gamers will be able to be neighbors with others. However, at the moment, there is no release date for the multiplayer mode. Hopefully, we will learn more about the multiplayer mode in the coming days.
