We Might See Wonder Woman Cameo in Shazam

While we will have to wait few more months to get our first glimpse at Shazam!, in a recent interview, Zachary Levi has said that he will love to see a Wonder Woman cameo in the upcoming movie.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight http://www.etonline.com/zachary-levi-becoming-refreshing-dc-hero-shazam-and-possible-cameo-gal-gadot-exclusive-93843

, the actor said, “I think getting a cameo from anybody would be super cool, but I just think Gal Gadot is so effervescent. She has such a charm. And she seems like a really cool broad. Like, she was in the Israeli army. She’s a mom. And I’m like, ‘You seem like you’re grounded and cool, and you’re Wonder Woman, and you rock. And I think it would be really funny to have the 14-year-old Billy Batson inside of Shazam that’s really awkward around this beautiful Amazonian. I just think that would be really awesome.”

At the moment, Shazam! is set to start filming later next month with a rumored released date in April next year. While sequel to Wonder Woman will be arriving in November, 2019, a cameo from Gal Gadot will certainly help Shazam since the character is relatively unknown among moviegoers at the moment. As for other cameo of Superman, Levi said that the movie will be like Superman meets Big. He said, “I can’t tell you much, as you can probably imagine, but what I can say is I am just out of my mind excited! I get to do my version of Big, basically. It’s like Superman meets Big, and that’s just so fun…get to be a superhero that’s excited about being a superhero, and I think that’s refreshing. It’s not glum, and like, ‘Oh, I have to save the world again.’ So I think it’s all really gravy.”

Asher Angel was recently cast to paly Billy Batson who transforms into Shazam with Mark Strong set to portray the main villain in the upcoming movie. With the shooting set to begin later next month, we are liekly to hear more about the movies development in the coming months.
