Although it’s been quite a while since Sony Picture’s Venom has started its production, news surrounding the upcoming movie has been pretty scarce so far. However, over the weekend, Tom Hardy shared a series of photos via Instagram which suggest that the principal photography of the movie has been finished.
While most of the images contained short caption, in an image with the sound team of the movie, the actor seemingly confirmed the news. He wrote, “Wrapped SAN Fran Jam DuN. Sound Team Venom MVP crew shout out to all the crew on Antidote legends all. Outstanding work team. Thank you all. Am humbled and absolute Honour and a privilege. You killed it. Smashed that Thank you for letting me run with you.”
Although we will have to wait to get official confirmation regarding the news from the studio itself, it’s safe to assume that the production went according to plan. However, at the moment, it’s unclear which characters will make their appearances during the movie. For instance, rumors for a while suggested that we might see Spider-Man in the upcoming movie. But, the studio has kept the actors role under wrap although actor Tom Holland was spotted in the set of the movie few weeks earlier.
Apart from this, there is no confirmation regarding the main villain of the movie. For a long time, rumors suggested that we will see Carnage as the main villain. Apart from Tom Hardy, we will see Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate and Woody Harrelson reprising different roles in the upcoming movie. As the movie has an October 5, 2018 release date, we are likely to get more news about the movie in the coming days.
