Although PUBG at the moment is far from the ideal version of the game on Xbox, the title experienced massive success since its release. Shortly after its release earlier last month, both PUBG Group and Microsoft revealed that the game had sold over 1 million copies under 48 hours. While gamers in other platforms beside Xbox and PC might want to get their hands on the game, it’s likely that we will see PUBG coming to PS4 in future but not anytime soon.
The latest news comes after PUBG Group CEO Chang Han Kim’s latest interview with InvenGlobal where the goal is to launch the title in every platform. However, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is part of an exclusive deal with Microsoft meaning we might not see the title heading to the PS4 anytime soon. However, when the exclusivity period ends, PUBG launch might be delayed for Sony’s strict quality guidelines for its games.
As for now, Kim revealed that PUGB group is currently focused on finishing the Xbox One version first ahead of considering release in other platforms.
