We are heading into that part of the year when we will finally learn about future of different television shows. While Arrow-verse shows are pretty popular among fans, recent firing of Andrew Kreisberg has left many fans wondering if the shows will come back after they end the current seasons. However, recently The CW president Mark Pedowitz talked to EW where he said that we are likely see all of the show returning for future seasons although there is no official discussion at the moment.
During the interview, he said, “At the moment, it’s a little too soon. We’re noted for announcing at winter TCA that we’re picking up shows, we just weren’t ready to do that yet. A couple more weeks [and] we’ll probably get around to it. I’m pretty confident we’ll see them all back.”
If we take Pedowitz’s words for it, then it seems that the network isn’t particularly concerned with the shows’ futures. At the moment, Arrow is set for contract extensions related talks with Stephen Amell talked many times at past that we might see the show going on couple of more seasons. Despite that, Arrow is going through some changes as the network is aware that the show might not be able to hold onto the show for a long period of time. Moreover, with Black Lightning premiering soon, we will see both Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow changing their schedules.
As we move towards the end of current seasons of Arrow-verse shows, we are likely to hear more related to the future of different series.
