FBI Forensic Examiner Expresses His Frustration at Apple’s iPhone Encryption

FBI’s feud with Apple was one of the most discussed topics few months earlier. While it’s been a long time, it seems that FBI is still frustrated with the company due to its practice of encrypting iPhones.

In a recently published report in Motherboard, FBI forensic expert Stephen Flatley expressed his frustration with the company as he claimed that the company is making the his and his colleagues’ work harder with the encryption.

He said, “Your crack time just went from two days to two months. At what point is it just trying to one up things and at what point is it to thwart law enforcement? Apple is pretty good at evil genius stuff.”

Despite this, the law enforcement organization has claimed in the past that it had managed to unlock encrypted iPhones as reports previously said that FBI had worked with Cellebrite to help them to break into encrypted iPhone.
