Earlier this year, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that fixing the social network will be his personal challenge for this year. As the social network has been in news over last couple of months largely because of its role in spreading false information, the immediate action was to revamp the news feed to show more relevant information. And now, Facebook is set to start surveying its users to improve the news feed.
In order to prevent spread of false information over internet, Facebook will start using its quality surveys with users now getting asked about a news source. While the company thought of making the survey dependent on news sources themselves, the company felt that the community will be most objective when it comes to trusting a news source.
