Facebook Announces New Streaming Platform to Rival Twitch
If you have been following Facebook recently, then you might be aware that the social networking giant is expanding its video platform in an attempt to match other streaming services. And now, the company has introduced a new video streaming platform to rival game streaming platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.
According to the company, it launched the latest platform called “gaming creator pilot program” in an attempt to attract more streamers to the social network. The company revealed that the latest addition to the network will give users ability to stream games as well as create and manage a community within the social network.
However, Facebook hasn’t released a lot of details at the moment including how the streamers will benefit from their effort apart from getting exposure to more audience. With the program officially launching on Sunday, we are likely to get more information over the coming days.
