If you are using smartphones on a regular basis, then you are more than likely to come across different situations where your phone’s battery is running low and you are forced to send a message to others to let them know that your phone’s battery is about to die. Now, you can use an application called Die With Me which is only usable when your phone has only 5 percent battery and below left.
The app’s creator Dries Depoorter recently told Motherboard, “We wanted to do something positive with a low battery. And now we see people happy with a low battery having low battery conversations. We had so much fun creating this. We had ideas to make a dating app where you can find someone around you with a low battery, and when you meet, the battery [is dead], so you can have an offline real conversation.”
At the moment, it is an app that allows you to chat with other users on the network who has 5% battery or less in their smartphone. In order to use the application, you will need to set up a nickname and give the app permission to read your phone’s battery status.
However, note that the application won’t increase or allow you to manage your smartphone’s battery by any mean. At the moment, the application is available on both iOS and Android.
