Nokia Might Be Working on a Phone with QWERTY Keyboard

Although phones with QWERTY keyboards were once highly popular, rise of modern smartphones has seen the design feature becoming obsolete over last couple of years. However, from time to time, BlackBerry brings phones with QWERTY keyboard. Interestingly, a latest report from NPU has revealed that Nokia might be working on a smartphone featuring QWERTY keyboard.

While nothing is confirmed thus far, the report cited a well-known source who suggested that Nokia TA-1047 could be a phone with a QWERTY keyboard. The smartphone in question was recently spotted at the FC and the dimensions of the phone suggest that a QWERTY keyboard might part of the upcoming smartphone’s design feature.

Apart from this, the smartphone rumored to feature a 3.3-inch 480×480 resolution display powered by Snapdragon 205 processor and custom OS.

Given that in past Nokia has released phones with QWERTY keyboard, it won’t be highly surprising if it releases another device. However, at the moment, there’s no confirmation and we will have to wait to find out if Nokia announces the smartphone during next year’s Mobile World Congress of CES.
