After months of anticipations, fans finally got their wish when Marvel released first trailer of Infinity War few weeks earlier. Few days earlier, the trailer broke records to become the most viewed trailer till date. While we will have to wait few more months to see if the movie manages to live up to fans’ expectations, Kevin Feige has recently revealed that first 5 minutes of the movie will be devastating.
If you have watched the trailer, then you already know that Thanos is finally coming out of the shadows to become the biggest villain in MCU with the upcoming movie’s release. At the moment, Thanos seem to be invincible. Talking about the upcoming movie, Feige said that the upcoming movie will showcase Thanos’ power. He said, “Well it’s certainly the biggest movie we’ve ever made. It is still shooting, we’ve been shooting all year long and Josh is doing an amazing job of playing Thanos. You know, we’ve been teasing Thanos since the very first Avengers film. Remember the end of Avengers, the very end of the movie he turns around in the chair and you realize something bad is coming.”
Moreover, given that Marvel has been teasing Thanos as the biggest villain for a long time, the villain will be required to deliver a great performance in the upcoming movie. As a result, the producer revealed that they won’t be holding back the Mad Titan. In order to do so, Thanos will appear at the beginning of the movie. He said, “We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver. So, within the first five minutes of Infinity War people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
“He’s got some company. He’s got some old faces that you’ll recognize. A certain brother of Thor might show up for a while with him and he has his own team called the Black Order which is a brand-new selection of villains. But really, Thanos doesn’t need much help. He can pretty much take care of it himself.”
While all of these information are pretty solid marketing tactics, we will have to wait few more months to see if Josh Brolin’s Thanos manages to live up to our expectations. However, as we get closer and closer to the release of the movie, we are set to get more details regarding the plot of the movie.
