Following release of iOS 11.2.1, Apple has now released the first beta of an upcoming iOS 11 update to developers. If you are a registered developer, you can now download the iOS 11.2.5 beta from Apple’s developer center.
While it’s not clear how many features will be included in the upcoming beta, given that it is a minor update, the update is likely to focus on small bug fixes and security improvement seen in similar updates. However, at the moment, it’s unclear why Apple skipped several numbers to release the current beta.
Although everyone is eagerly waiting for several major features such as iCloud Messages and AirPlay 2 in iOS 11, the latest beta does not contain the update and it’s unclear if the company will include the feature when the company decides to bring the 11.2.5 version out of beta.
