YouTube Go Now Available in India and Indonesia

Earlier last year, Google announced YouTube go to give uses to ability to view, download and share videos from the platform. While it’s been quite a while since the initial version of the application appeared in the Google Play Store, the application’s full version is now available in India and Indonesia.

The application can come pretty handy in case you are using the application with a slow internet connection which can negatively impact the viewing experience. The application allows users to download and view contents more freely. The application is particularly helpful for users who have limited amount of data as prior to downloading the video, it shows how much data will be used by the video.

Apart from this, similar to other files, users can share the downloaded file with nearby friends and family via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct. However, you won’t be able to watch HD videos as the app currently allows users to view and download one of three different resolutions. 144p, 360p and 480p.

While the application is now available for users from India and Indonesia, it might roll out to other developing countries in next couple of months.
