It’s been quite a while now since Tom Hardy has started training for his upcoming role in Venom. While details of the upcoming movie has been pretty scarce, Hardy’s trainer Nathan Jones has revealed that everyone will be pretty surprised to see Hardy’s portrayal in the upcoming movie.
Jones’ latest comment came as a new video has been released to showcase Hardy’s training for the role. While the actor has transformed himself for different roles in past, Jones said that in order to reprise the role perfectly, hardy has been going extra mile to get himself physically prepared for Venom. He said, “Most people, you give them the choice, they will always take the easy option. ‘You want more? No, I’m OK.’ But not Tom. There’s always room for one more.”
While we have seen Venom in Spider-Man previously, Venom’s screen appearance didn’t meet comic book fans’ understanding of the anti-hero. In the comics, the character is larger and more intimidating than the one we have seen in third movie years earlier.
In case you didn’t know, Tom Hardy will play the title character in the upcoming movie directed by Ruben Fleischer. While there isn’t a lot of details available at the moment, shooting of the upcoming movie is currently underway in Atlanta and scheduled for release in fall 2018. Venom brings a lot of talented cast members including Michelle Williams (Ann Weying/She-Venom), Riz Ahmed and Jenny Slate as a scientist. As the production of the Spider-Man spin-off goes forward, more details of the upcoming movie is expected to be available in the coming months.
