If you own Xbox One, you already know that Microsoft revamped the Xbox One dashboard with the Fall update few months earlier. Thanks to the update, users got new customization tool and Fluent Design touches in the dashboard. Interestingly, Microsoft is planning on making it easier to share Xbox One captures in social media.
If you are currently using Twitter and Facebook to stream your game or share game clips, you know that the process isn’t particularly practical. However, Mike Ybarra and Jason Beaumont from the Xbox team revealed on Twitter that Microsoft is working on making it easier to share gameplay footage as well as screen captures.
At the moment, the users can share screenshots and videos on Xbox Live, OneDrive, Twitter and Facebook but need to press and hold the Xbox button just after capturing recording clip. The process isn’t particularly easy since users need to wait until the contents are completely uploaded to Xbox Live when a share button appears in the list of option. Since the process is slow, it takes some time before you can share your gameplay with others. While it will be worthwhile to get an easier way to accomplish this, we will have to wait to find out how Microsoft will make it easier to share captures on social media.
