Figures Reveal that Switch Made up 19% of Ubisoft’s Sales this Quarter

Over last several weeks, Ubisoft’s ongoing ownership related issue became the center of attention. However, the company is beyond those problems for now and it released its earnings report for the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. Interestingly, the Nintendo Switch has become one of the top performers for the publisher.

The latest report comes as a surprise given that the console was launched earlier in March this year. According to the latest figures, the PlayStation 4 remains to be the top performer with 31 percent of the total sales figures. On the other hand, Xbox and PC have a total of 20 percent and 15 percent of total sales.

Although not the top spot, sales figures for the Switch is highly impressive if you consider different reasons. For instance, the Switch was released back in March. Moreover, the company released a higher number of titles for other platforms than it did for Switch.

As Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is responsible for the higher number of sales thanks to the game’s immense popularity, we will have to wait to find out if the sales figures increase in the coming months with other releases for the console.
