Recently, users turned on internet to complain that Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone X’s screen becomes unresponsive in cold weather. However, Apple is reportedly working on fixing the problem. Interestingly, reports have surfaced that Pixel 2 XL owners are also experiencing unresponsive screen related issue.
The latest complains regarding the smartphone comes via several members of the Pixel User Community website where users have revealed that the phone’s screen has little to no responsiveness at the edges. Talking about the latest problem, a user, Artem Russakovskii wrote, “I have found it generally hard and unreliable to tap the edge of the screen where the curve is, especially when trying to put a cursor there to edit something on the screen.”
Following the complaints, the community manager Orrin has commented that Google is currently looking at the issue and will release a fix in the coming days. He also revealed that the issue isn’t caused by hardware failure but because of a software related issue. The problem is caused by the phone’s accidental touch protection feature which appears to be little bit too strong. However, Google is expected to release the fix on a timely manner.
