It’s been over two weeks since Apple released iOS 11 to public and while general reviews have been nice so far, several users have complained that the latest operating system is slowing down their applications or simply draining battery. If you were one of those users facing problems with the iOS 11, you will be disappointed to know that you cannot downgrade to 10.3.3 anymore meaning you will be stuck with the problems for some time until Apple releases a fix for the problems.
This latest issue comes after Apple recently changed its policy and no longer supports signing for both iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11 meaning when you upgrade to iOS 11, you cannot switch back to iOS 10.3.3. As a result, if you are currently using the older 10.3.3 operating system, you won’t have any issue but you will want to wait a little longer before updating your device’s operating system to iOS11 as Apple is expected to release update shortly to fix several bugs with the OS.
As for the decision to stop the possible option to switch back, Apple recently released iOS 11.0.2 which fixed several bugs and improved the user experiences with the devices. In the coming months, Apple is expected to update the OS to continue the improvement process. With iOS 11.1 available for developers, you might be getting the update in few days’ time.
