Tremors 6 Release Is Delayed to Summer of 2018

Although Tremors 5 was scheduled for release on January 30th, 2018, recently star Michael Gross confirmed that the release of the movie has been pushed to summer of next year. However, at the time, the exact date of release is unknown.

The latest confirmation comes via the star’s official Facebook page where he is known for regularly providing update for the movie. Most recently in the comment section, he revealed that we will have to wait few more months to see the next installment in the series. In a Facebook post, the actor revealed that the movie is scheduled for arrive in May, 2018. He wrote, “Owing to background noise, some of Burt Gummer’s lines could not be salvaged from the original Tremors production track, requiring I do some ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement). I watch the image repeatedly, listening to the original production track on headphones, and re-perform each line to match the wording and lip movement-which can be challenging. Here I am with Assistant Picture Editor Maria Friesen on the ADR stage in Burbank, California. #tremorsfilm #moviemaking #film #sound”

Tremors 6 will see Burt Gummer and his son Travis Welker in action as they head to Canada to investigate a series of deadly giant-worm attacks. During the course of the movie, they will head to a research facility to find out that Graboids are secretly weaponized. Interestingly, the movie will take place alongside the new Tremors Series where we will see return of Kevin Bacon to the franchise since the first movie. As of now, no official release date has been confirmed for the movie but as the production of the movie nearing its end, we should learn more about the movie in the coming weeks.
