With holiday season nearly around the corner, all of the manufactures are on busy schedules as they announce newer products. However, Sony has been surprisingly quite with the newer products. But, new report out in Japan pointed out that the company has decided to go ahead with minor update with the PlayStation 4 Pro model. The site has found out that the PS4’s model number had been changed from CUH-7000 to CUH-7100 to change a minor hardware change.
When the site contacted Sony about the changes, the company confirmed that the PS4 Pro indeed went through some changes although gamers will not be noticing the changes in hardware as they are related to internal components rather than full-fledged specifications.
If you are familiar with the updating process of the hardware, then you wouldn’t be surprised with the latest changes. Tech companies from time to time use different products when they can find a newer version of hardware from different manufacturers that ultimately cut down production cost without making significant differences. As a result, consumers do not notice any difference in day to day usage of a product.
If you are planning on getting a new PS4 Pro, then you will get the latest hardware update with the “Rathalos Edition”.
