Earlier this summer, Microsoft finally unveiled its long discussed project scorpio with the label Xbox One X and at the time, the company revealed that we will need to wait until end of the year to get our hands on the latest console. Starting from today, you can officially pre-order the console from official Microsoft Store and Microsoft.com.
While the pre-orders start today, the console will start shipping later this year starting from November 7th with 1TB of storage. As Microsoft mentioned plenty of times, the Xbox One X is the most powerful console of all time as it packs enough power for you to play games at 4k resolution. Inside, you will find an 8-core custom AMD CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz, 12GB of GDDR5 memory with 6 Teraflop GPU and 32GB/s memory bandwidth. In addition to this, the console features 6GB of storage memory, 12GB HDD as well as UHD Blu-ray optical disc drive. While the console is priced at $499, the price is justified when you consider the power the console packs.
The latest console is set to join the Xbox family alongside other existing consoles and if you are wondering, all of your Xbox One games and accessories are compatible across the Xbox One family of devices. In addition to the existing games, developers are expected to release more titles in the coming months.
If you don’t want to purchase the console just yet and would prefer to wait for even more powerful console, then you will be glad to know that Microsoft announced pre-orders for even more powerful Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, a limited edition console designed for enthusiasts. As for sales, the company revealed that it had record setting sellouts in the first five days of pre-order. However, we will have to wait several months to get our hands on the latest console.
