While crossover episodes of the shows set in Arrow-verse have become highly popular in recent years, characters from The Flash and Arrow are much more prominent in the episodes. However, all those is set to change as Andrew Kreisberg has recently revealed that Danvers sisters will be extremely important for the crossover episodes as well as the show’s upcoming season.
Talking to EW, he said, “Kara and Alex are at the center of it through all four hours. One of the things we’ve been doing a lot this season is getting back to season 1 and really making it Danvers sisters-centric, so a lot of what’s going on this season is Kara and Alex doing things in tandem, and the crossover won’t be any different.”
If you are a big fan of the shows, then you might already know that whenever showrunners use the term “emotional stakes”, they change the show for some time. If that’s the case, then the upcoming crossover might change the relationship between two sisters and keep it in this way for some time of the season. For instance, we saw how Barry and Cisco had a rough patch in the earlier part of last season of The Flash. However, by the end of crossover, they resolved their differences and went to re-establish their friendship. How Supergirl treats the show remains to be seen.
Whatever happens, we will have to wait just few more weeks to find out how the shows are returning this year. Supergirl is set to return October 9th at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Up until then, stay tuned to know more about the news related to your favorite shows.
