Samsung Releases Several Bug Fixes for My Files Application

Samsung’s Files app has been ever since Samsung released its first smartphones. The application over the years have served as a solid application for users around the world as it provides all of the functionalities someone expects from a traditional file manager. However, few weeks earlier, the company released a minor update to fix some issues of the application. And earlier today, Samsung has released a bigger update to the application to fix a number of bugs. Thanks to the update, the application will now show an icon whenever an update is available for the application from the company.

The latest update of the application fixes the issue of non-responsive predictive text when using the application’s built-in search functionality. The application had another major issue as reported by several users during copying process of files from different storage. For example, files within the application copied from another application such as cloud storage didn’t show up. With the latest update, Samsung has addressed the issue and now users can have better user experience.

However, the update as off now is only for latest Galaxy S8 along with other smartphones running ‘Samsung Experience UX’. You can download the file directly from Galaxy App store where you will need to log in with a Samsung account.
