When LG revealed its latest flagship V30 few days earlier during this year’s IFA, it packed few surprises with the smartphone’s specifications. Interestingly at the time, the company didn’t reveal the pricing related information. However, recently rules in a competition revealed that the smartphone might go for a retail price of about $750 in the US.
While the information isn’t completely reliable, the pricing of the smartphone seems to be accurate as it will put the V30 up against other similarly priced flagships. Apart from that, it’s not known how much you will need to pay to get your hands on the smartphone if you are living in Europe. While the $750 converts to about £580/€630, it’s before local taxes and adjusted regional price. As a result, you can be sure that the smartphone will cost you over €800 if you are from Europe.
Despite its competitive pricing, we will need to wait a few more days to find out how the V30 fares against other top smartphones including Galaxy note 8 and highly anticipated iPhone 8. The smartphone will be available for retail pretty soon but with iPhone event scheduled for September 12, fans are eagerly waiting to find out what Apple has kept under the veil for the highly anticipated smartphone. Apart from that, Google Pixel XL 2 is also coming up before end of year meaning LG might have a solid competition in its hand when it comes to selling the flagship.
