After months of speculations, we finally got to see what Apple was planning for a long time regarding its latest iPhone. While Android is widely used by different manufacturers, Google’s own Nexus and Pixel have their fans for obvious reasons. As a result, fans are eagerly waiting to find out what the search engine giant has up in its sleeves regarding the upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel XL2 smartphones. And most recently, both Pixel XL2 and Pixel 2 are sighted at the FCC meaning we will have to wait just less than a month until we get to see the upcoming Pixel phones.
The latest rumors surrounding the event have started thanks to a billboard in Boston featuring 4th October which is much earlier than the previous speculations regarding mid-October release date. If the company indeed decides to showcase the smartphones however, we are likely to get invitations in the coming days.
As of now, we don’t have a lot of information to go on regarding the upcoming smartphones. The FCC filing suggests that the Pixel XL2 will be named G011C which reportedly is being manufactured by HTC. On the other hand, the filing has suggested that the upcoming XL2 will have band 71 which will be significant for T-Mobile since the smartphone will support the carrier’s new 600MHz LTE.
