Few hours earlier Google has rolled out an update for Gmail for Android that brought minor but distinctive changes in the application. With the latest update, the company has made it easier to archive an email or undo the whole process.
Prior to the update, if someone wanted to archive an email, the user would see an undo button on the title line of the application. However, as the screen sizes of the smartphones have continued to grow, the button proved to be little difficult to use.
However, with the latest update, the search engine giant has introduced an undo button at the bottom of the screen which has made it easier to undo an action. For instance, if you want to undo an action within the application, you can do so by just using your thumb.
In addition to this, the latest app update has introduced Google account settings within the application. Thanks to the latest update, you can now change your account settings directly through the ‘My Account’ option from within the application. Tapping this will take you to a webpage where you can update your relevant Google account features. If you haven’t received the application update already, then you might want to head to Play Store to download the update manually.
