If you are fan of Blizzard’s games, then you already know that the developers aren’t stranger to mobile platforms as over the years, the company launched several applications targeted towards gamers. The company previously launched its mobile authenticator along with the app for World of Warcraft. And now, in order to bring Battle.net functionality to smartphones, the company has launched a new app with the Battle.net launcher embedded into a mobile application.
With the latest application, gamers will now be able to see what games their friends are playing. In addition to this, gamers will be able to add others as friends and chat with them. The developers wrote, “If you’ve ever wanted to see what games your friends are playing while you’re headed home on the bus, or quickly add a new friend you’ve met out on the town, now you can with the Blizzard Battle.net mobile app.”
While the application is pretty basic, it will serve your need in case you want to stay in touch with others when you are away from your gaming device. You can download the application from Google Play and iOS store. If you are not seeing the application in both of the platform listed just yet, don’t worry since Blizzard has noted that the application’s rollout is in progress and you should be getting access to the application in the coming days.
