While we have to wait few more days to figure out what big studios are planning on bringing in the following months, new details of several projects have been revealed over last several days. If you are a fan of Batman, then you will be glad to know that Warner Bros. has been working on a brand new anime movie, Batman Ninja which will officially be released next year. While not a lot of details are knowns so far, the studio is set to reveal information related to the movie during this year’s New York Comic Con.
The latest details of the Batman Ninja comes via New York Comic Con panel description where Warner Bros. Japan will present details of the project. The official description of the Panel notes, “Warner Bros. Japan and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment team for an eye-popping addition to the Batman animated legacy with Batman Ninja, a spectacular, all-new anime film coming in 2018. Be among the first to witness the premiere of colorful footage from this imaginative take on Batman and many of his connected characters. Panelists will include director Jumpei Mizusaki, character designer Takashi Okazaki, screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima, English-language screenwriters Leo Chu & Eric Garcia and some potential special guests.”
However, this won’t be the first time we will see Batman in anime form. Back in 2008, Batman: Gotham Knight was another anime that connected the events of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. While we will learn more during the event, latest reports have confirmed that Batman Ninja will arrive sometime in next year. Although there aren’t a lot of known information so far, hopefully the studio will reveal more details related to the anime during the event in Comic Con.
