You Won’t Get Any More Single-Player Updates on Mass Effect: Andromeda

Although Mass Effect: Andromeda had pretty decent storyline, there were several loose end in the original storyline which made fans wonder how BioWare is planning on closing the story. However, the developers have recently confirmed that there is no planned future patches for the game.

Talking about the aforementioned loose end of the story, BioWare said, “Early in development, we decided to focus Mass Effect: Andromeda’s story on the Pathfinder, the exploration of the Andromeda galaxy, and the conflict with the Archon.”

“The game was designed to further expand on the Pathfinder’s journey through this new galaxy with story-based APEX multiplayer missions and we will continue to tell stories in the Andromeda Galaxy through our upcoming comics and novels, including the fate of the Quarian Ark.”

Despite experiencing decent success following the game’s release, the game had several bugs and graphics related issues which received heavy criticisms from gamers. While the last patch, released on August 1 will be the last one for the campaign, BioWare revealed that the multiplayer team will provide further details of their ongoing support and contents of new multiplayer missions and other related features in the coming days.
