Remaining of August is set to be pretty massive for Android fans as several highly anticipated smartphone models including Galaxy Note 8, LG V30 are set to be unveiled for everyone. In addition to these models, multiple sources have claimed that we might finally learn more about next version of Android as Google is set to release Android 8.0 to the public with the Pixel smartphones.
While we had to wait pretty long time to get the next version of Android, we are set to get bunch of new features with the upcoming version of Android. While there will be several major changes in the background, users will get more polished interface along with notification groupings to make the smartphone easier to use if it isn’t already.
In the backend, Google is set to be more aggressive when it comes to managing background apps to improve the battery life of Android devices. While the operating system is launching pretty early for everyone, you won’t be getting your hands on the highly anticipated operating system up until a later date. However, if you own a Pixel or Pixel XL smartphone, you will be able to get your hands on the operating system earlier than expected. With other manufacturers though, you might have wait a long time before you can get taste of the operating system. With longstanding history of companies taking longer than expected to update the devices, it will be interesting to see when bigger portion of users receive the update related to Android O.
