As we eagerly wait for new announcements regarding upcoming iPhone8, rumors have started to flow at full speed. While the upcoming smartphone might not feature a large number of changes, that doesn’t mean speculations will stop anytime soon. Interestingly, one of the major case designer Nodus is confident enough to finalize their design of cases for Apple’s upcoming smartphone.
The latest renders of Nodus’ cases come via a report on Forbes. In the report, the renders convey similar design patterns we are seeing for a long period of time and according to sources, the iPhone 8 might feature nearly bezel free display with new sensor.
Moreover, if the report to be believed, then Apple is likely to drop the traditional Touch ID feature to implement more secured biometric recognition based on facial recognition or similar technology. Interestingly, the report has suggested that if the iPhone 8 indeed features similar technology to Touch ID, it might be included in the sleep and wake button to make it faster to unlock a device.
This report is certainly interesting given that for a long time, rumors suggested that Apple is planning on integrate the Touch ID or similar recognition system within the smartphone’s screen which has proven to be a difficult task to accomplish. However, if similar features are integrated in the sleep/wake up button, it will certainly be an interesting way to implement the feature in a smartphone. Whatever happens, we will need to wait a bit longer to find out what Apple has in store for its consumers with the highly anticipated smartphone.
