Few days earlier, Samsung launched Galaxy Note 8 which might be out of many people’s reach considering the price tag the smartphone is expected to come with. However, Chinese smartphone makers are known for bringing similar smartphones with much more affordable price tag and most recently, Meizu has introduced a new smartphone which at least on paper looks to be the more affordable version of Galaxy Note 8.
If you didn’t know about the company, it isn’t particularly surprising given that the latest smartphone will mark a lot of firsts for the Chinese manufacturer. For example, the smartphone is set to be the first to be released internationally as the phone is first from the company to feature dual-lens camera.
While most of the flagships at present Snapdragon 835, the Meizu M6 contains a Snapdragon 825 with 4GB of RAM. Additionally, its 5.5-inch full-HD display is powered by Adreno 506 GPU. Moreover, the smartphone’s 4,000 mAh battery also supports fast charging technology.
As mentioned earlier, the smartphone is the first smartphone of the company to feature dual-lens camera system and the phone features respectable 12-megapixel Sony lens and a 5-megapixel Samsung lens. According to the company, the combination of f/1.9 aperture and 0.03 second dual phase detection mechanism is unseen in any of the previous entry-level smartphone. In addition to this, the phone features a 16-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture which sounds good on paper. If you are a selfie lover, then the camera should satisfy your needs as the phone’s built-in algorithms will help to deliver you natural skin colors for selfies..
While the smartphone isn’t directly available to consumers located in UK or US, you can get your hands on the device using various retailers. The company is expected to reveal more information about the smartphone in the coming days.
