Lenovo has established itself as one of the leading PC manufacturers over last several years and earlier this year, the company announced its brand new PC line-up, Lenovo Legion. The announcement regarding the new PC line up came during this year’s CES and at the time, the company introduced two different laptops, Y520 and Y720. And now, the company has introduced three new desktop towers with the same name during the company’s event at Gamescom. The newly introduced desktops follow industry standards when it comes to supports as all of the desktop models are VR-ready along with other virtual reality platform.
If you are budget oriented customer, then you would be interested in purchasing the Legion Y520 Tower which starts at $599.99. You can choose from a variety of processors from Core i3-7100 to all the way up to i7-7700. As for GPU, you have the Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti, GTX 1060 3GB, and AMD Radeon RX 560 to choose from.
The second of the three desktops, Lenovo Y720 Tower comes in Core i5 and i7 configurations with much better GPUs as you can choose from GTX 1060 6GB, GTX 1070 8GB, GTX 1050Ti, and Radeon RX 570 8GB to meet your needs. In addition to this, the desktop comes with 512 GB SSD and you can have up to 2TB HDD depending on your needs. The Y720 starts at $999.99 which is reasonable due to its specifications.
Lastly, the flagship model of the series Y920 comes with i5 and i7 versions and offered with Intel’s K-series processors meaning you can overclock them for better performance. Additionally, you can get two 512 GB SSD or single 4TB HDD. As for GPU, you can choose up to 8GB of GTX 1080 paired with up to 32GB of RAM. If you are going to overclock this model, Lenovo offers liquid cooling for better cooling solution. However, the Legion Y920 will start at a whopping $1999.99.
If you want to get your hands on the models however, you will need to wait until October as all of the three towers will be available from that time period according to the company.
