In recent months, rumors surrounding next James Bond have been in full flow and finally we have a definitive answer from Daniel Craig as he finally revealed that he will be returning to reprise the role another time. The latest confirmation comes from the actor himself as he revealed that he wants to play the role another time during his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
While previously numerous sources claimed that Daniel Craig is set to return for Bond 25, there was no official confirmation regarding the casting choice up until now. However, when asked if he will return to play the role, he revealed that he knew that he will return for several months now and said, “Yes. I always wanted to, I wanted a break.”
However, not a lot of details regarding the upcoming Bond 25 have been revealed so far. While there are some new writers set to join the duo of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, no plot details have been released so far. As of now, the studio rumored to be considering casing Yann Demange, David Mackenzie and Denis Villeneuve for the upcoming movie. Bond 25 is set for official release on November 8, 2019 and with more than two years away, we should learn more about the upcoming movie in the coming months.
