Although it’s been a while since we have seen Intel’s latest Apollo Lake processors, the company is yet to release a compute Stick mini PC featuring an Apollo Lake processor. However, several third party companies have released PC sticks. Earlier this year for example, Bben unveiled a PC-on-a-stick with an Intel Celeron 3450 quad-core processor. However, consumers are yet to get their hands on the device up until now. And now, ECDream has launched a PC featuring similar functionality with dual =-core Celeron N3350 processor called ECDREAM A9.
The latest PC-on-a-Stick measures just 5” x 2.3“ x 0.6” and supports up to 8GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage. The computer comes with standard ports for the devices in the categories as it supports 802.11 ac WiFi connection, Bluetooth 4.0. for connectivity and data transfer, the mini Pc features a micro USB port for power, a microSD card slot, two USB 3.0 type-A ports along with HDMI port to let you connect the stick to an external display.
Inside, the computer features a small fan to keep the heat under control. While the PC does make a little bit of noise, it doesn’t mean you can’t use it as a home computer. You can get your hands on the latest device from Geekbuying for $100.
