Avengers: Infinity War is set to finish up major storyline of Marvel Cinematic Universe while laying the groundwork for future movies. With Spider-Man: Homecoming set to get worldwide release on July 7th, people associated with the movie are currently pretty busy with the promotion of the movie. Recently during a promotional event at NYC, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed that the Avengers: Infinity War is set to kill of some superheroes.
Talking about the upcoming movie during an interview with JoBlo, the producer revealed the decision although he didn’t give any significant details of the upcoming movie. He said, “Yes. We have another two years of hard work to even finish these movies, and they have a lot of hard work to do, so that’s all we’re thinking about, is completing those and delivering on the promise of those. Where it goes beyond that, we’ll see.”
This latest news comes as in recent months rumors have started surfacing in full flow that both Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans’s characters are set to be killed off by the end of the movie. The rumors started surfacing after news broke that Chris Evans didn’t start filming until May which means the actor might have a small role in the upcoming movie. However, as the movie is set to feature 67 characters, it’s too early to predict anything regarding the movie.
Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to release on May 4th, 2018. With two major movies, Spider-Man getting release few days later, we should get some hints where the MCU is leading to before Infinity War’s release.
