Ubisoft for a long period of time has used its iconic blue swirl logo. Yesterday, the company introduced its latest logo featuring minimalistic designs.
The latest logo is not so much different from the original one as the latest logo just removes the colors and moves towards minimalistic design. Talking about the latest logo, the company wrote in an official post, “The swirl and the letter O are both deliberately created to be reminiscent of hand-drawn shapes and represent our human qualities of enthusiasm, curiosity and the grain de folie that Ubisoft is known for.”
The official post by the company also featured all of the previous logos. For example, the first image showcased the original logo back from 1986 followed by 1995 logo of the company. However, the company moved to the now old swirl logo which the company has said features much more mature approach to the publisher’s games.
As of now, it seems that the company is going to use the minimalistic logo in the upcoming games. Talking about the latest logo, the company said that the minimalistic design of the logo gives everyone “a window into its worlds, giving a preview of what’s to come by highlighting the artistry that goes into creating them”. As the E3 arriving in a few days, we will learn more news related to games as several highly anticipated titles are set to be featured during the event.
