Star Wars Battlefront II’s Viewership Records Show Promising Sign

This year’s E3 delivered its promises as gamers around the world finally got to see what the companies have in store for them. When it comes to winner though, Star Wars Battlefront II became a massive success as the game became the highest viewed videos from the annual event.

The latest confirmation comes from YouTube Trends blog where the streaming giant ranked games announced during the event. According to stats, Star Wars Battlefront II is first with 7.9 million views followed by Super Mario Odyssey with 5.5 million views in second, Spider-Man in third with 4.5 million views, FIFA 18 with approximately 4 million views and Need for Speed Payback with 3.4 million views.

The latest figures shows that Star Wars popularity remains to be in the top levels and the game became even more popular thanks to the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi from later this year.

The game’s first trailer arrived way back in April but the game was focused on single player campaign. While the first game didn’t live up to the expectations, the recent records from E3 shows that the game will become successful largely due to huge following of the series. we will have to wait pretty long to find out if EA and DICE can deliver the promise this time as the game is set to launch on November 17 for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4
