In order to attract more consumers in China where Samsung is struggling to assert its dominance, the company started selling its flagship smartphone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, other countries didn’t receive the same model and when Galaxy S8 Plus debuted in India back in April, consumers had the standard option to purchase the model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Now, the company has decided to make the 6GB model available for Indian consumers as well.
If you are interested in purchasing the smartphone, you can pre-order the smartphone in India starting from today although you will need to wait at least a week to receive the smartphone as the official sales will being on June 9th. In order to boost the sales figures, Samsung is giving out free wireless charger who will purchase the 6GB model.
As of now, the Galaxy S8 remains to be one of the most popular high-end smartphones in the market. The latest flagship phone features a 6.2 inch screen with 2960×1440 pixels display. Apart from the 6GB RAM, the Galaxy S8 is powered by Exynos 8895 chipset.
With Galaxy S8, Samsung went away from the traditional design as it placed a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. The smartphone comes with a 12MP primary camera and a 8MP secondary camera.
