Samsung for last several months have been releasing its system apps on the Google Play Store. Just days following the release of Always On Display app, Samsung has released its another system app called Device Maintenance.
The latest app has similar functionality to other cleaner applications. With the application, you can clear the memory and delete files which you no longer require. Moreover, the application provides device’s ‘health’ and recommends you to perform different actions. For instance, you can use the application to identify battery draining applications along with one tap optimization. Moreover, the application can be used to detect malicious contents and remove them.
Samsung’s latest push to updating these standalone application can be attributed to the company’s attempt to provide updates fasters. The standalone application means the company will no longer required a major software update for the device itself. Instead of updating the application, the company can update the application without delays. As the company is expected to continue uploading more apps in the Play Store for consumers, watch out for any application you want to get from the company.
