Huawei has introduced a new model in its Honor sub-brand. The latest smartphone from the company is pretty similar to the old Honor 8 but packs several upgrades including a larger battery, more RAM and increased storage capacity.
The Honor 9 features a 5.15 inch fullHD display. The model comes with Kirin 960chipset, 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of expandable storage. Apart from that, the phone features a 3,200 mAh battery which is good enough to last more than a day.
The biggest upgrade the model got is in the camera department as the smartphone features a combination of 12MP and 20MP sensors similar to the P10’scamera. The camera packs several top of the line features with 2x optical zoom, laser autofocus, f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual-LED flash.
As for connectivity, the phone supports dual Sim with other traditional features. The smartphone will come with Android Nougat which should make it an attractive option for everyone.
The Honor 9 will be available from June 16 for about $400. The $400 model comes with 64GB storage while the $440 model will feature 128GB storage. However, customers in the United States will need to wait for a while since there’s no official word when the smartphone will come to US.
