According to latest rumors, Samsung is planning on releasing Galaxy S8 in March and if the information is correct, then the company is planning on cutting down price on its premium flagship models.
Evan Blass, who also revealed S7’s release ahead of the company’s official release last year, has said that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will launch on March 29th. In a recent tweet, he uploaded an image of the upcoming smartphone along with simple message saying, “This is the Samsung Galaxy S8, launching March 29.”
The rumors also suggested the next installments in the S series is likely to feature edge to edge display that will cover entire front face of the devices. Additionally, both models are set to include improved camera, rear fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the company is set to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor that will likely make the Galaxy S8 the fastest smartphone in the market.
In the uploaded image, it’s clear that Samsung is removing the home button which means that both phones will not be larger despite reportedly featuring 5.8 and 6.2 inch screens. Additionally, if the image uploaded is indeed correct, then it means that the fingerprint sensor will be moved back of the phones’ body which is opposite of the claims that the biometric features of the smartphones are likely to be included within the screen itself.
