Although Edge of Tomorrow is one of the best sci-fi thrillers from recent memories, the movie’s ending left a lot of people scratching their head. If you are one of these fans, then rest assured, the sequel is going to explain the movie’s ending as per Christopher McQuarrie.
Recently, McQuarrie turned to Twitter to answer fans’ questions about the upcoming sequel when one of the fans asked to give any hint about the sequel. IN response, Christopher McQuarrie said, “The end of Edge I will finally make complete sense.”
This latest confirmation is similar to what we have learning for a while now as the second movie is in the news for quite a while now. The second movie is set to be titled Live Die Repeat and Repeat. If you are wondering why the movie will go away from the traditional names from the sequels, then you should know that when the first movie came out, a large number of moviegoers identified the movie by referring to the tagline of the first movie.
The development of the sequel isn’t surprising as the first movie became both critical and commercial success. The movie managed to earn more than $370 million in global box office with a solid 91 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the movie doesn’t have a scheduled release date which means we might end up getting the movie after quite a long wait.
